# Connect Claude Code to ODUS

Add ODUS to [Claude Code](https://docs.claude.com/en/docs/claude-code/mcp) as a remote HTTP server. Claude Code can then read your ODUS data while it works in your codebase, for example to check a real payment's shape while you write a webhook handler.

## Add the server

Run this in your terminal:

```
claude mcp add --transport http odus https://mcp.odus.com/mcp
```

The server is added for you in the current project. Add `--scope user` to use it in every project, or `--scope project` to share it with your team through the project's `.mcp.json`:

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "odus": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.odus.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

The file holds no credential. Each person who uses it signs in with their own ODUS account.

## Sign in

1. Start Claude Code and run `/mcp`.
2. Select the ODUS server and choose **Authenticate**. Your browser opens the ODUS Dashboard.
3. Sign in and approve the connection, as [Sign in and approve](https://docs.odus.com/docs/guides/ai-connector/.md#sign-in-and-approve) describes. The browser shows that you can return to Claude Code.

`/mcp` lists the server as connected, with its tools. Claude Code keeps you signed in between sessions.

## Remove the server

```
claude mcp remove odus
```

Then disconnect it in the Dashboard under **Settings > Personal > Connected apps**.
