# Connect ChatGPT to ODUS

Add ODUS to ChatGPT as a custom app in developer mode.

## Before you start

* You need a ChatGPT plan that offers developer mode. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may have to allow it.
* Add and use the app on the ChatGPT website.

## Add the app

1. In ChatGPT, open **Settings > Apps**. Under **Advanced settings**, turn on **Developer mode**.

2. Choose **Create**. Enter a name, such as `ODUS`, and the server URL, `https://mcp.odus.com/mcp`.

3. Set authentication to **OAuth** and leave the client ID and secret empty. ChatGPT registers itself with ODUS.

4. Confirm that you trust the app, and choose **Create**. ChatGPT opens the ODUS Dashboard.

ChatGPT's menu labels change from time to time. If you don't find one of these, OpenAI's help pages on developer mode have the current ones.

## Use it in a chat

Choose the ODUS app from the tools menu in the message box, then ask a question, for example "list the orders placed today that are not fulfilled yet".

## Disconnect

Remove the app in ChatGPT's settings, and disconnect it in the Dashboard under **Settings > Personal > Connected apps**.
